The city of Seattle is situated in the state of Washington between Puget Sound and Lake Washington. Seattle is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and is about 96 miles south of the Canadian border. Seattle is located in King County and is the county seat.

However, the Seattleites (residents of Seattle) have not only been focused on developing their intellectual skills since in 2005, Men’s Fitness magazine also named Seattle the fittest city in the United States.

Seattle also boasts a rich cultural scene with an abundance of museums, art galleries, movie theatres and a professional symphony, ballet and opera. Seattle is also regarded as the birthplace of grunge music, a home of famous grunge bands like Nirvana or Pearl Jam and the location of the grave of Jimi Hendrix.
